He is survived by: his wife Caroline Stauss; his children, Amy Ostermeier (Alan) and Jeff Ramsey (Debbie) of Grand Forks, ND; his grandchildren, Mikayla, Ryan, Teran, Kalissa, Colton and Brooklynn; his great grandchildren, Savannah, Ava, Eric and Alden; and also Ernest.
