With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George McKinnon (Grand Forks, North Dakota), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, George D. McKinnon and Ellen R. McKinnon (Bell); his wife Corky; and his nephews, Judd Blaine Sondreal and Chris Dingle.
He is survived by: his children, Michael George McKinnon (Eric Bettelheim), Laura McKinnon Knox and Suzanne McKinnon Netzer (Alan); his stepchildren, Brandon Lavelle and Kimberly Lavelle Melin; his grandchildren, Christian Knox (El Langland), Eden DiPersio (Daniel), Grace Netzer (Tanner Hanson), Paige Melin and Payton Melin; his great grandchild Louisa Jean Langland-Knox; and his siblings, Brenda Sondreal (James) and William McKinnon (Judith). He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Northland Rescue Mission in Grand Forks.
