He was predeceased by: his parents, William Gangelhoff and Sophia Irene Gangelhoff; his wife MaryAnn Ill; and his siblings, Eva Harpster, Evelyn Donnelly, Elmer, Jerome and William Gangelhoff.

He is survived by: his daughters, Joanne, Cathy and Marilyn Harold; and his siblings, Pearl Johnson, Deloris Smith and Theodore Gangelhoff. He is also survived by 8 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
