She was predeceased by: her parents, William Slominski and Mary Slominski (Ginter); her grandmother Helen; and her siblings, Stanley, Walter, Steve, Louie, Aurelia, Bebe Ann and Margaret.
She is survived by: her children, Cheryl Effhauser and Michael Effhauser (Denise); her grandchildren, Jill Muro (Joshua), Amy Bartlette (Shawn) and Matthew Effhauser (Sarah); her great grandchildren, Bella, Greta, Hank, Gemma, Gus and Rex (Effhauser); her grandchildren, Elijah, Eva, Eden, Elliott (Muro), Peyton, Macey and Hattie (Bartlette); and her siblings, Theresa Gerszewski and Dennis Slominski. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM and on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM. A rosary was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the Norman Funeral Home (2950 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (200 3rd St NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721).
