With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James McDonald of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on August 2, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie McDonald and Ethel McDonald; and his brother Jon McDonald. He is survived by: his wife Sonya (Holm); his sons, JP (Jill), Peter (Heidi) and Chris (Christin); his grandchildren, Ryder, Max, Cullen, Bentlee, Preston, Murray and Lanie; and his sisters, Jan Gaddie (Blane) and Judy Rupert (Curt). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
