She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Eckstein and Violet Eckstein (Ludtke); her husband Virgil Garritson (Church) of Grand Forks; and her sister LaVay Eckert. She is survived by: her sons, Guy Garritson (Cheryl "CJ") of Chaplain, MN and Gary Garritson (Dawn); her sister Carol Rygg of Grand Forks, ND; and her grandsons, Michael, Scott, Jack (Katie), Hunter and Sean. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
