It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Lyons of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jim Lyons to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James W Lyons (Budd) and Mary "Dot" Lyons (Bennett); and his parents-in-law, Randy, Ann Giedd, Joe Giedd and Regina Verkonski.
He is survived by: his wife Daisy Giedd; his sons, Casey and Shawn; his grandchildren, Caden, Canyn and Michael; his siblings, John Lyons (Sherry) and Jani Bohn (Duane Hovet); and his parents-in-law, Willie, Gary Moen, Harlan Giedd, Rose Giedd, Linda Giedd, Lillie and Geff Magsam. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to The Veterans Memorial Park in Grand Forks.
