We announce the death of John Czapiewski in Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on July 7, 2026, at the age of 77. John will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry A. Czapiewski and Emily A. Czapiewski (Rogalla); his brother Henry Czapiewski; his in-laws, Tom Nyberg, Judy Wenlund, Richard, Mary Nelson and Mary Nyberg (John); and his great-nephew Michael Bullinger.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Czapiewski; his children, Michael Clark (Angie Gothberg), Dana Schill (Troy) of Grand Forks, ND and Darren Czapeiwski (Claudia) of Dickinson, ND; his grandchildren, Conner Gothberg, Madison Clark, Casey, Cassidy Schill, Lexi and Brooke Czapiewski; and his in-laws, Ron Nyberg (Marilyn), John "Jackie" Nyberg, Diane Nyberg and Greg Nyberg (Patty). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
