We are sad to announce that on July 26, 2025, at the age of 81, John Eugene Richards Sr. (Grand Forks, North Dakota), born in Upland, California passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Richards and Mary Richards; his granddaughter Brittany Burkes; and his sibling's children, Joseph, Jacob Hornback, Rob Richards and Kathleen Pratt.
He is survived by: his wife Edie Anderson; his children, Pam Burkes, Joanne Barstad (Dan), John Richards (Mary) and Tori Ramirez (Victor); his grandchildren, Brandi, Brandon, Brady, Ashley, Chris, Shaley, Justin, Jayce, Aiyanna, Peyton, Dominic, Darious, Demetrius, Layla and Victor Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Carter, Jocelyn, Janessa, Cecilia and Kelsie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
