As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Kay Janet may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roger Bakke and Ida Bakke (Christopher); and her husband Norris Kvasager. She is survived by: her children, Renee Kvasager, David Kvasager (Melody) and Kent Kvasager; and her sisters, Gail Rahlf, Karen Smith and Lana Kaufman. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Amundson Funeral Home (2975 S 42nd St, Grand Forks, ND 58208). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any donations be given in Kay's name to the Grand Forks Senior Center (620 4th Ave. S, Grand ND, 58201).
