He was predeceased by : his parents, Lars Omdahl and Hannah Omdahl; his wife Ruth Evangeline Jones; his siblings, Harris, Glen, Frances, Douglas, Grace, Dean, Donald, Lawrence, Doris and David; and his daughter Nancy Omdahl.

He is survived by : his children, Scott Omdahl of Fort Collins, CO and Becky Omdahl of Falcon Heights, MN; and his grandsons, Jeremy Mote of Smyrna, GA and Andrew Mote of Athens, GA.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hope Church (1601 17th Ave S, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location.

The family requests that memorial donations to honor Lloyd be given to this effort (in preference to flowers), and they thank you for joining them in feeding hungry children throughout the world. “Lloyd was my Sunday School teacher when I was at teenager. I never forgot him, nor he me. He was an encouragement to me every time we visited, which was infrequently over the years. Each time, he remembered where I was living and the ministry in which I was involved. He was always genuinely interested, and always had a word of encouragement to match. He was a great and godly man. I will never forget him.”
