She was predeceased by: her parents, Gotfried Nitschke and Dorothea Nitschke (Schock); her husband Jacob Heyd; her siblings, Lloyd, Hugo and Alvina Schlenker; her daughter-in-law Kathy; and her grandson Scott.
She is survived by: her children, DuWayne (Rhonda), Frank (Betty) of Grand Forks, Clyde (Debbie) of Billings, MT, John (Arleen) of Schafer, MN and Roxann Sorum (Jayson) of Grand Forks; and her sisters, Delores Schneider of Ashley, ND and Lenora Nitschke Johnson of Aberdeen, SD. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
