She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Chavez and Camilla Chavez (Telles); her husband Willard; her son James Coss; her daughters-in-law, Mary Kay Hanson and Gail Coss; and her brothers, Raymond Chavez, Albert Chavez and Victor Chavez.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Rydell and Richard Coss; her granddaughter Lisa Fincher (Randy); her great grandchildren, Jason Ewing, Cody Ewing (Malena Hackett) and Isabel Flores (James); and her siblings, Corrine Burgess, Lydia Dyches and Fred Chavez. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Memorial Park South Cemetery (3002 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201).
