He was predeceased by: his father Lawrence Skiple; and his adoptive parents, Arnold Gulsvig and Myra Gulsvig. He is survived by: his mother Edna Skiple of Fargo; and his siblings, Diane Kron (Keith) of Paola, Darlene Jerde (Jim) of Crookston, Wayne Gulsvig of Ankeny, Iowa, Neil Gulsvig (Jan) of Wausau, WI, Scott Skiple (Jackie) of Yellow Springs, OH, Steve Skiple of Bismarck, Craig Skiple (Linda), Richard Skiple of Fargo, Darin Skiple of Waconia, MN and Jason Skiple (Anita) of Detroit Lakes, MN. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to the Mike J. Skiple Scholarship Endowment, UND Alumni Association.
