He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Nelson and Patricia Gelbach (Farren); his sister Kristine Sersland; and his grandparents, Ed, Lorraine Farren and Cora Nelson.
He is survived by: his siblings, Kent Nelson (Ursula), Sonia Burley and Eric Nelson; his siblings' children, Justin Burley (Kimmie), Brynlee, Miles Burley, Evan Nelson and Jacinda Wood (Luke); Jerry Sersland. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.
