We bid farewell to Myrtle D. Austreng of Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Beltrami, Minnesota, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Myrtle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Though Myrtle may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Myrtle touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin Nelson and Mabel "Lottie" Nelson; and her siblings, Alvin S., Selvin, Irvin, Gerald Nelson, Margaret Nelson and Geeneva Rector.

She is survived by: her sisters, Daralis "Dolly" (Wally) and Darlene Sherman. She is also survived by her 2 sons and daughter.
