He is survived by: his wife Patricia Saumur; his sister Luanne Felch (Roger); his daughters, Kristin Larson (Kelly Sturgis), Kate Hellem (Daniel), Libby Kroeber (Scott) and Peggy Freeman (Andrew); his grandchildren, William Freeman, Sarah Harper, Anna Freeman-Beachy, Abby Ringwelski, John Kroeber and Maria Kroeber; and his great grandchildren, Vivian, Rafael and Nina.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Augustana Lutheran Church (520 University Ave, Grand Forks, ND 58203). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Augustana Lutheran Church or St Joseph's Food Pantry in Grand Forks.
