It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Paul Holmes in Grand Forks, North Dakota, born in Hagerstown, Maryland, who passed away on March 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Linda Holmes (Schoen) and Paul Mills Holmes; and his sister Ginna Moore. He is survived by: his wife Beth Hoekstra; his sister Casey Newton; his brother-in-law Don Moore; his nieces, Nora and Merrill Daniels; and his friends, Bob Evenson and Chad Caya. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

“In loving memory of Paul Holmes; Someone so special will not be forgotten. Kim and Ernie met years ago as business professionals. They became friends and enjoyed talking about cooking and motorcycles. Ernie and his wife, Patti’s favorite eating establishment was at Sanders Restaurant, owned and operated by Kim. Not only were the meals incredible, but the service was also outstanding! One of our favorite memories was Kim talking to customers at each table and making everyone feel special!”
