He was predeceased by: his parents, John Turchin and Edna Turchin (Olson); his siblings, LucyAnn Quittschreiber, Tom Turchin and Stanley Turchin; his nephews, Brian Turchin, Duane Turchin and Todd Turchin; and his brothers-in-law, Denny Quittschreiber, George Hoffman and David Costello.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Nelson of Finley, ND; his daughter Jodie Carlson (Jeff) of Finley, ND; his grandchildren, Samantha Iverson (Josh), Shelby Hanson (Jordan) of Finley, ND and Wyatt Carlson; and his siblings, Roger Turchin (Janice) of West Fargo, ND, Mike Turchin (Cindy) of Henning, MN, Mark Turchin (Deb) of West Fargo, ND, Bernadette Costello of Dilworth, MN and Melinda Hoffman of Horace, ND. He is also survived by many Nieces and Nephews.
