He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rood and Marilyn Rood (McIntrye); and his sister Kristen. He is survived by: his sons, Brandon Rood of Grand Forks, ND and Tyler Rood of New York, NY; his grandchildren, Bodhi and Banx Rood; his siblings, Julie Bouchard (Rick), Renée Johnston (Corey), James Rood (Terryl), Michael Rood (Nadine) and Robert Rood (Tami); and his former wife Barbara Rood (Hjelmstad). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
