He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin M. Johnson and Mabel O. Johnson (Mortenson); and his siblings, Jean Mammel, James Johnson and Eloise Perry.
He is survived by: his children, Mary Wirta (James) of Steamboat Springs, CO, Heidi Johnson of Wahpeton, ND, Marty Johnson of Greenwood Village, CO, Sandra Welsh (Jeff) of Aurora, CO, Richard Hagen (Heather) of Aurora, CO and Brother Robert Johnson (Bonnie) of Bismarck, ND; and his grandchildren, Brynlee Johnson, Ashton, Avery Wirta, Tommy, Emily Hagen, Bailey, Ashley and Kayla Lowery. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
