He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Jones and Elsie Platt Jones Ashly; his brother Charles Holcomb II; his nephews, Charles Holcomb III and Christopher Vanyo; his niece Meri Jo Paschke; his great grandchild Clara Jones; his siblings-in-law, Conrad Vanyo, Augie, Betty Vanyo, George Jr., Dorothea Vanyo, Dale Telle, Ronnie Vanyo, Ron Langowski, Robert, Colleen Langowski and Terri Jones; his stepgrandson Scott Heyd; and his close friend Johnny Vanyo.
He is survived by: his former wife Mary Vanyo of Tabor, MN.; his wife Connie Langowski of Minto, ND; his stepchild Courtney Rae; his children, Rhonda Heyd (DuWayne), Rodney Jones (Christina Hardesty) and Courtney Gratzek (CJ Peterson); his grandchildren, Vicki Rose Jones, Timothy Jones, Camille Gratzek, Gunner Gratzek and Griffin Peterson; his great grandchildren, Lillian Jones and Emmett Jones; his brothers, Donald Jones and Richard Jones; his sister-in-law Doris Holcomb; and his former wife Mary Jones. He is also survived by her family, and Connie Jones, and her family; several "bonus" grandchildren.
