He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Joseph Capistran and Violet Opal Capistran (Winger); and his brother Tom Capistran. He is survived by: his wife Penny Capistran (Hardy) of Grand Forks; his children, Becky Anderson (Aaron) of Avondale, AZ, Darick Capistran of Portland, OR, Benjamin Capistran of Fargo, ND and Sarah Spencer of Colorado; his grandchildren, Anthony Capistran (Monique), Adeline Anderson and Ava Anderson; and his great grandchild Alec Ronald Capistran.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dahl Funeral Home (2029 Central Ave NW, East Grand Forks, MN 56721). A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery~crookston.
