He is survived by: his wife Diane Pauls of Grand Forks, ND; his children, Heather Peters (Myron) of Grand Forks, ND and Matthew Pauls of Grand Forks, ND; his granddaughter Emma Peters of Grand Forks, ND; and his sister Joan Ruliffson of Fargo, ND. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
