It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally C. Jacobson of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on March 6, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Martin and Mabel Martin (Marshall); her husband Marlin "Jake" Jacobson; her brothers, Danny Martin, Rodney Martin and Steve Martin; and her grandchildren, Martell, Natalie Jacobson and Nora Pedersen.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Jacobson (Zama), Wesley Jacobson (Dana) and Kathleen Pedersen (Kim); her grandchildren, Sydney, Reed and Tate Jacobson; her children, Bryn Jacobson, Madilyn Wood, Kamilla and Annika Pedersen; and her brother Lee Martin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (5555 S Washington St, Grand Forks, ND 58201). A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 29th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Sally helped establish the North Dakota State Capitol Donate Life Christmas Trees in remembrance of organ donors, supported legislation to include organ donation education in driver's education courses, and together with Jake served on the hospitality team for the Trails for Transplants organ donation trail ride fundraising efforts.
