He is survived by: his children, Natalie Cooper, Maurice Cooper (Christina), Sabrina Sawatzky and Justin Sawatzky; his girlfriend Linda Sawatzky; his grandchildren, Austin, Teisha, Tashaun and Neviah; and his siblings, David Cooper (Sharon), James Cooper, Evelyn Walker and Sally Mathis. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
