He is survived by: his sisters, Patricia Vettel-Becker (Richard) and Deanne Mohr (Joseph); his nieces and nephews, Angelica Nelson (Michael), Shoshana Howley (Justin), Richard Mohr and Jordan Mohr; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Annika Nelson, Serena Howley, Dylan Howley and Remington Howley; and his uncles, Kenneth Vettel (Delores) and Jerome Orvik.
