He is survived by: his wife Diane Ommedal; his daughters, Miranda Roy (Booker) of Goddard, KS, Alyssa Nyberg and Rebecca Peterson (Jake) of Grand Forks; his grandchildren, Axel Roy, Finn Roy, Sloan Roy, Pace Peterson and Poppy Peterson; and his siblings, Ron Nyberg (Marilyn), John "Jackie" Nyberg, Nancy Czapiewski (John) and Greg Nyberg (Patty). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
