Thorey Green Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thorey Green of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on December 28, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alli Magnusson and Thorlaug Magnusson (Finnsson); her husband George; her son Andrew; and her siblings, Leola (Milt Larson), Viola (Earl Main), John Magnusson, Marvin (Doris Magnusson), Cecilia (Lorn Dunnigan), Frank Mollner and Tom Wild.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Liffrig (Mike) of Mandan, ND, Christi Young (Shane) of Lakewood, CO and Meridee Danks (Keith) of Grand Forks, ND; her daughter-in-law Kelly Rood (Green) of San Antonio, TX; her grandchildren, Ryan, Elaina, Joseph, Jessica, Kristen, Peter, Rebecca, William, Charles (Liffrig), Reese, Falyn (Young), Cody, Kylee, Maxx (Danks), Justan, Ali, Tia, Sadie and George (Green); her sisters, Lola Mollner of Aurora, CO and Shirley Wild; and her sister-in-law Lois Magnusson of Preston, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made to Calvary Lutheran Church in support of the Memory Cafe and Unforgettables Choir, both of which Thorey was a member and enjoyed in her later years.
