It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Rath of Grand Forks, North Dakota, who passed away on September 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Rath and Anna Rath (Wentz); his daughters, Terri Armstrong-Hanson and Carrie Lynn Rath; and his brother Vernon Rath.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lazur; his children, Shawn Rath (Kristen) of Missoula, MT, Brian Rath (Emilie) of Lake Park, MN, Michael Lazur (Kay) of Reynolds, ND and Jill Lazur of Knoxville, TN; his siblings, Janet McArthur, Leonard Rath (Inez), Kathleen Smith (Marty), Phyllis Salacinski and Bruce Rath; and his grandchildren, Carlie Sessing, Zachary Armstrong, Molly Hanson, Michael Rath, Myer Rath, Brolin Rath, Sophia Minniti, Amelia Minniti, Brooklynn Lazur and Hailey Lazur.
