He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Zimmer and Evelyn Zimmer (Bohlman); his brother Robert J. Zimmer; and his stepbrother John Norton. He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Sullivan; his children, James P. Zimmer of Brooklyn Park, MN., Jean Ann Anthony (Mike) of San Clemente, CA., Jeff Zimmer (Carmel) of San Diego, CA. and John W. Zimmer of Redondo Beach, CA.; his stepsiblings, Matt Norton and Laurie Norton; and his grandchildren, Michael Anthony, David Anthony and LeiAnna Zimmer. He is also survived by his family and friends.
