He was predeceased by: his parents, Porter Harmon and Stella Harmon (Simmons); his daughter Roxann Kraft; and his siblings, Leland and Evelyn.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hillerud; his son Randy Harmon (Lisa) of Sun Prairie, WI; his grandchildren, Reed Harmon (Anna), Ross Harmon, Ryan Kraft (Kylene) and Shelley Overbo (Jeff); his great grandchildren, Preston, Mason Kraft, Kinleigh, Braelynn Overbo and Beau Harmon; and his sisters, Maxine Harmon of Portland, Joyce Harmon of Portland and Jean Jones of Scottsdale, AZ.
Memorials are preferred to Granville American Legion, Bethany Lutheran Church or North Dakota Veteran's Cemetery.
