With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kevin Ronning of Grenora, North Dakota, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his father Kennet Ronning; his brothers, Larry and Brian Ronning; his grandparents, Lars, Elizabeth Haugen, Sven and Katie Ronning; his aunts and uncles, Peewee, Avis Berkram, Arvid Ronning, Elwood Haugen and Gary Sprenger; and his close friend Beverly Griggs.
He is survived by: his mother LaVonne Ronning (Haugen) of Froid, MT; his sister Kristine Field (Bob); his nieces and nephews, Thomas (Nicole), Brian (Korryn), Andrew (Victoria), Erik and Elizabeth; his sister Avis McDowell (Brady); his nieces and nephews, Kennet and Lane of Froid, MT; his aunt Sonja Sprenger; his godmother Sonja Sprenger; and his aunt Connie Ronning.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the Everson Coughlin Funeral Home (112 4th St E, Williston, ND 58801). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Froid Lutheran Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations in memory of Kevin to be made to the Special Olympics.
