Ida Shipton Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on August 24, 2025, at the age of 92, Ida Shipton of Gwinner, North Dakota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Messersmith and Grace Messersmith (Briggs); her husband Richard; her daughters, Debra Eminowicz and Lois Carol Calhoun; her siblings, John Messersmith, Jane Book and Mildred Nelson; her granddaughter Carolyn Calhoun; and her son-in-law Bill Hornbeck.
She is survived by: her children, Grace Cattin (Les), Stanley Shipton (Laurel), Shirley Shipton and Dennis Shipton. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
