He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth Erickson and Clarice Erickson (Hegle); his brothers, Kim and Kendall; and his grandson Iziah Walden.

He is survived by : his wife Peggy Klinkhammer; his daughters, Amanda Walden (Ryan Cotton) and Alicia Kelsen (Rob); and his brother Curtis Erickson (Bonita). He is also survived by six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
