He is survived by: his grandchildren, Nate Utecht (Christine Chase), Schuyler Utecht (Carli Merkel) and Harleigh Helland (Justin Helland); his great grandchild Harper; his siblings-in-law, Ginny Rader (Rob) and Dean Anderson (Verna); and his niece Cressy Liljenquist.
