With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Kassa of Hankinson, North Dakota, who passed away on November 25, 2025 at the age of 71. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orville King and Agnes King (Hentz); and her grandparents, John, Caroline Hentz, Matt and Myrtle King.
She is survived by: her husband Peter Kassa of Hankinson; her sons, Chet Kassa (Amy) of Grand Forks and Eric Kassa (Carin) of Wahpeton; her grandchildren, Chloe, Lachlan, Davyn and Mya; and her siblings, Cindy King, Faye Roth (David), Jill Foertsch (Chuck), Kathy Coppin (Dan) and Michael King (Lisa). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A prayer was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Frank Family Funeral Home (408 Main Ave S, Hankinson, ND 58041). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Convent Chapel (102 6th St SE, Hankinson, ND 58041).
