He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chuck" Mahrer and Ellen Mahrer (Oland); and his in-laws, Henry and Faye Krump. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Chad (Christy), Jason (Stacy) and Chris (Kristi); his grandchildren, Austin (Michaela), Ethan (Chantel), Dylan (Krissi), Emily Vollan (Zach), Jordan (Hailey) and Sydney; his great grandchildren, Preston, Zealand, Charlee and Nova; his sisters, Rita Wohler (Jerry), Pam Olson (Mark) and Candy Kath (Wally); his sister-in-law Judy Mayo (Bill); and his pet Cruzer.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Convent Chapel (102 6th St SE, Hankinson, ND 58041). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
