Colleen (Connie) Haugen Obituary

We announce the death of Colleen (Connie) Haugen (Hannaford, North Dakota), who passed away on October 4, 2026, at the age of 82. Colleen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russel Tharaldson and June Tharaldson (Mielke); her brother-in-law Tom Nauer; and her nephew Michael Tharaldson. She is survived by: her husband Eldo Haugen; her sons, Troy Haugen (Jill) of Hannaford, ND and Lynn Haugen (Dawn) of Hannaford, ND; her grandsons, Tanner and Brady Haugen; her siblings, Gary Tharaldson (Connie), Rodney Tharaldson (Mary), Roger Tharaldson (Sue), Cleone Nitti (Steve) and Delphine Nauer; and her siblings-in-law, Ronald Haugen (Diane), Jeanne Morrison (Duane), Karen Nelson (Tim) and Kathy Helmer (Scott). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Faith Lutheran Church (301 Bridge Ave, Hannaford, ND 58448). A prayer was held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at the Union Cemetery.
