He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Schwarz and Edith Schwarz (Bellamy); his wife Susan; and his siblings, Harold "Gene" Schwarz and Cindy Kopseng.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Schwarz (JoAnn) of Detroit Lakes, MN, Michele Hastings (Nate) of West Fargo, ND and Janell Gange (Jason) of Karlsruhe, ND; and his sister Cheryl Stafford of Harvey. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
