He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Bauerle and Myrtle Bauerle (Johnson); his daughter Maria Jay Bauerle; and his siblings, John Bauerle and Sharon Bauerle.

He is survived by : his former life partner Janiece Overland; his wife Amy Roder; his children, Kerry Bauerle (Jackie) of Harvey, Lisa Supan of Pahoa and Tawni Irvine (Rob) of Pahoa, Hawaii; and his sister Janice Sowatzki. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
