She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Teie and Marie Teie (Christensen); her siblings, Carl Teie, Donald Teie, Arlan Teie and Mary Greenwood; her children, Baby Terry and Anthony Smestad; and her granddaughter Melissa Halvorson.
She is survived by: her husband Stanley Smestad; her children, Terry Smestad, Kim Smestad and June Sanda (Lyle); her sister Cynthia Soliah; her grandchildren, Erik Smestad (Beth), Amy Kirchen (Bert), Heather Joslin, Madeline Smestad (Zac Swalley) and Jessica Sanda; her great grandchildren, Keira Kalenze, Talia Kalenze, Olivia Halvorson (Dane Durbin), Ella Halvorson, Kyle Kirchen, Alan Joslin, McKenzie Kirchen, Jackson Joslin, Alexander Halvorson, Charlotte Swalley, Jaylyn Kirchen and Cody Kirchen; and her great great grandchild Onyx Durbin.
