He was predeceased by: his parents, Frances Dahl and Otis Dahl; his parents-in-law, Ray Hartman and Pat Hartman; and his brothers-in-law, Steve Hartman and Carl Houk.
He is survived by: his wife Shelly of Hazen; his daughter Sarah Crowe (Glenn) of Devils Lake, ND; his siblings, Richard Dahl (Sherry), William Dahl (Susan), Rosemary Houk and Barb Dahl; and his siblings-in-law, Trish Greenwood (Dave), Connie Hartman and Russ Hartman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
