He is survived by: his son Kelly of Mandan; his grandchildren, Keaton Meissel (Stephanie) of Las Vegas, NV, Ashley Rueb of Hazen, Kimberly Mittelsteadt of Hazen and Kaly Mittelsteadt of Hazen; and his siblings, Judy Bowers (Wallace), Tom Meissel (Arlene) and Marvin Meissel (Ardella). He is also survived by two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Saint Matthew Lutheran Church (302 3rd St NW, Hazen, ND 58545). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Lutheran Church (302 3rd St NW, Hazen, ND 58545).
