He is survived by : his daughters, Dawn Grindahl of Fargo, ND, Paula Lavelle of Horace, ND and Kelli Heier (Kelly) of Ray, ND; his grandchildren, Amanda Norton (Chris), Jarred Grindahl (Kayla), Zachary Grindahl (Mariah), William Lavelle (Emmalee), Alexandra Lavelle, Matthew Heier (Jayme), Samantha Vejtasa (Jared) and Kendra Heier; his great grandchildren, Victor, Jada, Roman, Anya, Maddox, Emree, Bransen, Briggs and Ivory; his siblings, Jerome McLaughlin, Mary Ann Schutt (Syl) and Patricia Blume (Neil); and his siblings-in-law, Jerome Weiand and Jill McLaughlin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
