He is survived by: his sons, Carey Mattheis (Laurie) of Hazen and Eric Mattheis (Barbara) of Beulah; and his grandchildren, Samantha Fetsch (Steve) of Hazen, Justin Mattheis, Courtney Olson of Bismarck, Charles Mattheis (Amber) of Beebe, AR, Mitchell Mattheis (Alicia Engstrom) of Beulah, Morgan Robertson (Brian) of Dickinson, Spencer Mattheis (Bree) of Valley City and Mason Mattheis of Hazen. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
