It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Goldie Mae Baker of Hettinger, North Dakota, who passed away on January 26, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Milton Bartels and Ethel Bartels (Haynes); her brother Arthur; and her son William Oelke. She is survived by : her former life partners, Leo Grunstead and C. B. Baker; her siblings, Lloyd, Kenneth, Merton, Gene, Glenn, Stanly and Myrtle Ruth LaMont of Kansas City, MO; and her children, Reid (Lauree) of Ely, NV, Rhys (Carla), Robert Sparks (Vicky) and Jody LeFebre (Allan) of Hettinger, ND.. She is also survived by children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
