With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alice Reed of Hillsboro, North Dakota, who passed away on February 16, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Algot Nelson and Ella Nelson (Evenson); her husband Dr. Robert Reed; and her brothers, Bertel and Richard Nelson.

She is survived by : her sister Myrna Holkesvig (Bud) of Mayville, ND; her children, John Reed (Joanne) of Brooten, MN, Terry Reed (Susan) of Hillsboro, ND, Vickie Milde (Michael) of Menasha, WI, Susan Stringer (Craig) of Modesto, CA and Kimberly Smith (Thomas) of Lone Star, TX; and her niece Denese Odegaard of Fargo. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and countless other friends.
