He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Dietz and Juliet Dietz (Marcotte); his brothers, Paul, Dale and Steven; and his daughter Marlana Dietz-Reckmo.
He is survived by: his children, Ivan Dietz of Cando, ND, Elaina Dietz of Hillsboro, ND and Terry Dietz (Alison) of Fergus Falls, MN; and his sisters, Margaret Ewert (Carmen) of Langdon, ND and Janine Lovold (Jeff) of Roseau, MN. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 2 nieces; several cousins and friends.
