He is survived by: his wife Alice Carpenter; his children, Gene Kringstad, Jr., Galen Kringstad (Kelly), Tammy Young (Greg), Bernie Kringstad (Karah) and Jay Kringstad (Melissa); and his siblings, Gloria Kringstad, Ellen Glood (Charles), Steve Kringstad, Pam Evert (Craig), Cindi Funston (Mike), Rick Kringstad (Patrice) and John Kringstad (Jenny). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren.
